Mung dal, Mungbohne, Haricot mungo décortiqué, Frijol mungo pelado
Ayurvedic use: Garlic is used both raw and cooked in Ayurvedic cuisine. It decreases Vata and Kapha, but can increase Pitta, especially when consumed raw or in large amounts. When combined with cooling herbs like coriander, it can balance Pitta.
